Hello!
I’m a PhD student in the Psychological Sciences department at the University of California Merced. I am supervised by Dr. Eric Walle, the director of the Interpersonal Development Laboratory.
My work uses a combination of in-person (within laboratory) and online (Zoom) paradigms to investigate the development of emotion expression and understanding in humans’ journey from infancy to adulthood. Through my research, I aim to create a better understanding of the cognitive capacities that underly everyday empathetic interaction within social settings.
